First time at this large new restaurant open only about six months in an old building that used to be a Tire Center. Has great seating outside which will be great in spring. For now, it has a large interior with a large bar. A Mexican restaurant, and they specialize in creative tacos such as: tuna tataki, fried oyster, sesame ribeye, and on and on. The reviews raves about the food, and it is modestly priced. They have a selection of beers priced $3.75 for Yuengling Light to $6.75 for Orpheus Atlanta Tart Plum. There are Cocktails like margaritas, smoke on the water with really interesting ingredients, and there is the old thymer with bourbon, thyme, orange, lemon, and bitters, and others. Of course, it is a Mexican restaurant, there is plenty of vino priced $7.50 to $11.00. Join us, have a drink, a taco, and socialize with your friends. If you don’t want to have dinner there, make reservations for Gianmarco’s which is about a miles away, or go up Oxmoor to Soho area Main Homewood area and eat at any number of restaurants. ***In December and January we have some new and interesting locations for you to visit at our Friday Night Social. I had the help of Brenda Siragusa, Elizabeth McElroy, and Cindee Holladay in selecting these places. We visited all of these new place to taste their wares. I know it was a sacrifice for them (Ha) but they hung in there with me until we had seen and sampled some of the food and drink at all of these places. We hope that you will enjoy them as we did. At some point in future we will survey the club to see which should remain on our list and if some might need to go to second string.
